Level 2 Equipment
This level requires equipment to transmit at full power and receive. However not through out its entire frequency range. There may be gaps where there is no output, there many be hum in the audio. There may be distortion in the audio. The equipment however will be on frequency and the synthizer will be calibrated and reference set within OEM spec. You can expect a good final amplifier and good synthizer. It is expected further repair will be required. Transmitter gain modulation adjustments, or receiver adjustments have been set. This level, is an excellent entry point for a person who wants to learn the MSR 8000. Moderate skill level and general maintenance could result in a level 1 radio.

This level requires no testing. This level is a parts unit. You will receive all boards and metal parts as they where supplied to us. The unit may not even turn on without further repair, cleaning contacts connectors etc. However with enough effort and parts the equipment could become a working unit.
